Rhetorical Questions

X: "Oh, it seems we've put your money in Australian dollars."
R: "Yeah, that's what I thought."
X: "Why in the world would we have done that?"
R: "..."
X: "..."
R: "Wait, are you asking me?"

That was maybe the strangest 45 minutes I've ever spent inside a bank.

Uh, I have said that to a customer before over the phone... right before I said "would you mind holding while I look into this further."
LOL. I can't believe a bank would imply that a customer was responsible for the screw-up.
Though I will say if it was Canadian Dollars the screw-up would be more understandable. Australia though... not even the right hemisphere. Wow.
